End of Year Training: 🎄12 Days of Christmas & New Year's "Mochi Bunnies" 🐇

We received the following question from one of our members: "What is the New Year's training about?" Thanks for asking!
 
But before we get to it, here is the Christmas workout of this holiday season, it's called...


The Twelve Days of Christmas 🎄





"The Twelve Days of Christmas" is a Christmas carol that enumerates in the manner of a cumulative song a series of increasingly grand gifts given on each of the twelve days of Christmas (December 24-January 6).

 

This Workout (WOD) was the creation of our British Head Coach, Russell, and it included increasingly grand 🎁 gifts 😉

 

We had a cheer-leading team so that members wouldn't give up during this extraordinarily long session. Hohoho 🤶!



 
The WOD contained a lot more movements than usual. We trained every part of the body: the legs, arms, and core, small muscles and large muscle groups. This is circuit training for the whole body 🙂 We also receive the wonderful gift of full body soreness the next day.

And now to our New Year's workout with the ....
 
Mochi Bunnies!!!
This WOD is also Russell's original creation. You will be bunnies making Mochi (Japanese rice cakes).
Is this training useful when you make Mochi at home during the New Year holiday season (!?) you ask...
